In the culmination of their 15th anniversary season, PSSO will play selections including Gioacchino Rossini's "Overture to La Gazza Ladra" and Claude Debussy's "La Mer." The theme of the final concert (Music Sets the Scene) will be portrayed through the evening's selections. As a special treat, critically-acclaimed guest soloist Sara Davis Buechner will be featured in PSSO's performance of George Gershwin's "Piano Concerto in F." The Seattle-based orchestra, founded by musical director Alan Shen in 1999, is an all-volunteer ensemble. Presented by: Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra.
